I was told about this contest from a good friend and never done a tamale contest. I had no plans and wanted to take a relaxin' road trip so I set off on this adventure. 5 minute contests are perfect for me and I found out the record was 29 tamales which was a lot so I had my work cut out for me. I never had been to Greenville, Mississippi and I heard they made some really good tamales.
